Product Overview

This integrated rotational mold is independently manufactured by Sunmore Roto. The mold cavity features thickened carbon steel plate with precision internal polishing, matched with a full-surround all-welded heavy custom carbon steel frame and evenly distributed heavy-duty quick release lock clamps. The inner cavity forms vertical wave-shaped industrial plastic water storage tanks in one rotomolding process, with uniform internal heating delivering smooth tank surfaces and consistent wall thickness. Specially developed for mass production of vertical industrial PE water tanks, equipment circulating water containers, sewage storage barrels, and large plastic liquid storage vessels.

We upgraded our old iron molds to these optimized aluminum rotational molds for vertical cylindrical water tanks. After engineering optimization, the mold heating uniformity is greatly improved, cooling time is shortened by nearly a quarter. Cylindrical tank wall thickness is even, no partial thin wall during rotomolding. Product yield increased obviously, we will purchase molds for more tank volumes later.

We purchased a full set of integrated aluminum rotomold for rectangular HDPE water tanks. The space-saving integrated design greatly reduces our workshop placement area compared with split molds we used before. Mold surface finish is fine, finished square tanks have uniform wall thickness with no bubbles or deformation during rotomolding. Technical team helped us complete system docking quickly, stable quality for mass production, will add new tank size molds next year.
