SUNMORE ROTO OEM Custom Cast Steel Vertical Large Water Tower Rotomolding Mould is a heavy-duty cast steel rotational mold designed for mass production of large-volume hollow plastic vertical water storage tanks, civil water towers, agricultural irrigation containers, and industrial liquid storage barrels.

Product Overview

This specialized vertical water tower rotomold features a thickened high-density cast steel cavity with stable, uniform heat conduction. During heating cycles, heat distributes evenly throughout the cavity, ensuring consistent wall thickness in finished plastic water tanks while eliminating common defects such as air bubbles, cold lines, sink marks, and uneven wall thickness.

The mold includes an integrated heavy steel support lifting frame that combines supporting stand and crane lifting lugs into one piece, solving stability issues during heating and hoisting operations. It can be directly installed on all types of shuttle rotomolding machines. Multiple stainless steel quick release clamps are evenly arranged around the mold parting surface for fast locking before production and rapid opening after cooling demoulding.

All inner and outer surfaces feature high-temperature resistant anti-rust coating, resisting long-term repeated high-temperature circulation inside heating ovens. The coating prevents oxidation and deformation while making residual plastic easy to clean after batch production.

We upgraded our old iron molds to these optimized aluminum rotational molds for vertical cylindrical water tanks. After engineering optimization, the mold heating uniformity is greatly improved, cooling time is shortened by nearly a quarter. Cylindrical tank wall thickness is even, no partial thin wall during rotomolding. Product yield increased obviously, we will purchase molds for more tank volumes later.
